Dumelo pushes for twice a week wearing of ‘Ghana clothes,’ says it will create jobs John Dumelo, Actor Actor and politician, John Dumelo has called for more purchasing of locally made clothes. This, he believes would create jobs and “instantly boost local production and position Ghana as a fashion and textile hub in the sub-region.” In a post on Twitter, the NDC parliamentary candidate called for Monday to be added to Friday as a day for wearing locally made attire. State institutions in Ghana and most private companies have set aside Friday to promote locally made clothes. Workers are required to wear local textile prints. But pushing for more, Dumelo wrote “To be honest, the Friday wear is not enough. We should add Monday to it. Prince David Actor, Prince David Osei, says he would sue Ghana Celebrities website and its owner Chris Vincent for defamation of character. This comes after Chris Vincent had published a story on his site calling the actor “a broke celebrity.” The story alleged that Prince David owed a couple of people including celebrity A Plus some money and has refused to pay. The report added that Chris Vincent had paid the for the actor’s plane ticket many years ago and he never paid back the full amount. How Shatta Wale's ‘Wonder Boy’ album launch went - Report                                     Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale has launched his third album titled ‘Wonder Boy.’ The 13 –track album was launched during the second edition of his Reign Concert which was held on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at the Fantasy Dome in Accra. A precursor to the main show was performances from ‘underground’ artistes such as Gucci Wale, Xhilla Roy, Kweku Smoke, Renner, among others.
